Interested in adventure and exploration, coincidence and epiphanies, of the seen and unseen. A love for and foundation in drawing, leads me to attempts in painting, printmaking, collage, and assemblage. Through it all photography’s lens provides hours upon hours of intense scrutiny of life around me, through an exclusive frame.
This has led to an evolving exploration into darkness and light, shadows and bright, the pixels and noise of digital photography. Through the lens of my always available cell phone camera, in spite of and because of the intrinsic relatively lower tech format of photographic images; I am interested in what the sensor finds.
Years of printing my own large scale work led to a decision to open a print shop and art reproduction business.
